This Editorial Policy explains the standards we apply to our content.
Accuracy
We aim to publish information that is accurate, understandable and supported by reliable sources.
Football schedules, kickoff times, squads, injuries, lineups, venues and broadcast arrangements may change with little notice. Articles may be updated when new or more reliable information becomes available.
Readers should verify time-sensitive information with the relevant competition organiser, club, federation or authorised broadcaster.

Where a lineup has not been officially announced, it should be described as possible, predicted or expected. Confirmed lineups should only be labelled as confirmed after publication by an authoritative source.
